About

Meet Adrianne
Long COVID is a chronic condition that can occur after a SARS-CoV-2 infection and can affect one or more organ systems, with symptoms and conditions that may last months or even years.¹ Long COVID disproportionately affects women. Among U.S. adults who reported having had COVID-19, 16.5% of women reported having experienced Long COVID, compared with 10.5% of men.²
I became one of those women at a time when my career was soaring. As a Registered Nurse with decades of healthcare experience and a Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition, I was accustomed to being a high-performing, independent professional. Long COVID changed that trajectory and suddenly placed me on the other side of the healthcare experience, navigating a complex chronic illness while confronting its impact on my health, my career, my independence, and the life I had worked so hard to build.
That experience now drives my commitment to helping other professional women whose lives have been turned upside down by Long COVID find credible information, understand their options, and identify a practical path forward.
